By Road
From Kuala Lumpur take the Highway to Johor and exit at Ayer Hitam. (2hours, 30min) From the Ayer Hitam exit, turn right towards Kluang and then on to Mersing. Total journey time approximately 4 hours 30 min.
From Singapore cross the Causeway to Johor, take the road to Kota Tinggi and onto Mersing.
A Speedboat service takes 1 hour 15 min direct to the island but has to be pre-booked though Minang Cove. You can collect your ticket from our office directly opposite the ferry terminal. Normally ferries depart at 10:00am and 12:00 noon. Actual timimg depands on the tide.
Speedboat from Tioman Airport to Minang Cove is RM75.00 per person, one way. Journey time is 30 minutes.
