Jungle Trekking
Words alone cannot express the atmosphere felt once you step into Tiomans tropical rainforest. The sites, sounds and smell are so unique. 45 mins trek is Kampung Mukut, a small fishing village. 1 hour 45 mins takes you to Tiomans largest Waterfall. Here you may swim in the cool, refreshing pool at base of the falls. A shorter trek of 15 mins is Pantai Burung (Bird Beach). This deserted beach is home to Monkeys, Sea Eagles and iguana Lizards. For more adventures, climb one of the 2490ft "Twin Peaks". Only for the very fit and must be accompanied by a guide.

Giant Flying Squirrel
A giant squirrel. Very soft fur, rich dark brown above, brown below; abdominal hairs usually gray at base. Large black eyes. Can see most from April - Sept. July and August the best.

White Rosemallow
A tall, shrub like, woody plant, velvety leaves, and hairy stems, white with maroon/red center, with 5 petals around central tube (fused stamens and style). Plant as part of resort landscape.

Lizard
This lizard can sometimes be found climbing trees in search for insects and other small prey or eggs. Don’t be surprise you might see this guy on the seashore.

White Orchid
Medium to large epiphyte with 1-3 stiff leaves, white pear-shaped bulbs tinged with yellow spot, lite fragrant flowers.
This orchid is one of the most attractive and widespread orchids; the flowers can vary greatly in color. It grows on palms and other trees.

24 species of snakes in all sorts of colours such as the twin-barred and paradise tree snake slither among the trees.

2 days trekking tour through the jungle to the peak of Gunung Kajang, the highest mountain in Tioman (1038m).
